Forty-eight hours in Atlanta was time well spent with with of my favorite auto brands, Acura. I was invited to Atlanta to experience their entire fleet as a part of their summer rollout campaign. As a creator, I love curated-style programs like this that allow me to experience the vehicles first hand and gain a greater understanding of a brands overall marketing mission as well. My three takeaways: quality, performance and impeccable sound are at the heart of Acura’s focus, style and story. With that sound factor in mind, we kicked off the 2-day experience front row at the Trombone Shorty and Big Freedia live concert at Chastain Park. After hearing them live, now I see why both artists are at the top of their game, selling out shows all over the world and also why brands like Acura connect with their incredible talent.

The next day, we were revved and ready to hit the streets of the Atlanta suburbs where I had the opportunity to experience each vehicle first hand. First up and always the showstopper: the NSX Type-S redefined sports car. Thrilling is an understatement when it comes to the NSX. I can see why car enthusiasts get on waiting lists early to order it.

With an entry package starting at $169,500 MSRP, the NSX Type S is next level luxury. She’s a stunner from the moment you press the gas. “Hand-built by master technicians at the Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) with a limited production of 350 units globally, the new NSX embodies the pinnacle of dynamic driving worthy of the Type S badge”.
Next I headed straight for the MDX Type-S SUV.
At first glance the newly remodeled body style, signature grill and Tiger Eye pearl paint color stole my attention. Acura went into great detail when selecting both the unique color palette and finite details (like the bold signature grill) making the MDX a top pick in its category. As an entrepreneur, my eye always gravitates towards vehicles that boast functionality. I always keep in mind how I would integrate it into my business and lifestyle.
Paying attention to what fellow creatives would appreciate when buying or leasing a vehicle is a must. Hence why the luxury SUV or crossover for many reasons is my sweet spot – the space, performance, amenities and the tech make this category special and I appreciate the “upgrades” which in many cases are considered standard in luxury models.

“The MDX becomes the first SUV to join our heritage of Type S high-performance vehicles with a turbocharged V-6 that produces 355-hp126 and 354 lb-ft.127 of torque. Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™, larger Brembo® front brake calipers, and 21-in wheel deliver unrivaled handling. Available modern quilted leather seating surfaces, massaging front seats, and the 25-speaker Signature Edition ELS STUDIO 3D®32 audio system make the Type S a driver-focused masterpiece”

The MDX Type-S is one of the best SUV’s in its category currently on the road today. It screams accessible luxury with exceptional maneuverability and performance. What I noticed during my drives was how the ultra-quiet cabin and elevated feel drove like a moving spa. I appreciated the thoughtful details like: massaging seats, ample functional space both in the cabin and trunk, panoramic views and integrated high-level tech and sound, all which Acura has become synonymous for.
Finally, I took a spin in the all-new 2023 Integra. Acura’s motto of “taking the Performance Driving Experience to New Heights” is self evident with this refreshed and highly anticipated remake. On hiatus since 2006, the Integra is back with signature features including custom ELS sound designed with audio lovers in mind. To get an intimate feel for the revitalized model, we closed our trip at Tree Sound Studios where we attended a music experience with 8x Grammy Award winning producer Elliot Scheiner and musical guest Joe Bonamassa. At the studio, we got intimate tours of the sound design behind the brand, and heard from experts on what went into customizing the newly revived Integra’s award winning ELS audio systems.

It’s easy to see why Acura leads in performance and unique style. The brand is dedicated to delivering the utmost quality, safety and sound, which is at the heart of what they do. Without a doubt, the Integra’s resurgence into the market will steal some hearts of premium sports car lovers itching to rev and run.
